Your % over EPA is impresive, and I can see you in my "mpg rear view mirror". +1 on the belly pan, Mine is an aluminum 3 piece design that is still in need of minor improvements. the nice thing about belly pans is looks don't matter. It usualy takes 3 tries before you get a real good design, so just getting started is part of the disign process.

JethroBodine your last fuel update dropped you. now we are seperated by .006% and I got about an hour before I get to do me weekly fill up. I got a good feeling about this tank because I looked at my guage this morning when i go to work and I am still at 1/2 tank. thats about a 1/16th of a tank higher than i should be at this part of the week.

Sounds good, Man. I did drop a bit. Cool weather is here, and it's only going to get colder for another 5-6 months.

I see Tygen1 hasn't been on for 5 days and hasn't updated his log since September 30. You lurking Ty?

No skunk work stuff going on, just had a baby so I've not been on the net much. Traffic has been kicking my but, my average has been plummeting. I got 3 logs to add, but will be traveling to Haiti in a couple days to help build a house for a family who was displaced the Jan. 2010 earthquake. So you probably won't hear from me for a couple more weeks. When I get back I plan on some more mods though! I really want to average 50mpg this winter.

I see you edited your post, don't worry about it. I got a connection to where I am going. So, in a sence, it is local.
Now back on topic, I do have some secret stuff brewing for another project that I hope to post on Ecomodder soon.

Even more on topic: Recently I had my best individual commute to work, on winter gas and in some cold temps. I've been amazed at the difference changing the way I drive in the first 2-5 miles of my 42 mile commute. I'm seeing a 5-7mpg improvement in those first few miles. One of the keys is engine temp, therefore I plan on investing in some more serious engine heating and possibly adjustable grill block. As you may or may not know I do some home brew lean burn. The other key is getting into lean burn almost right after leaving my driveway. Once I get this fully resolved, I should start to see some 50mpg tanks again.
