I remember hitting 50, then 60, and now trying to get to 70 MPG has become a real challenge! It will happen! I am shipping out the camshaft I got from Shultz for an XFi re-grind next week!

Wow, congrats.
I came in here to say (brag /boast) that I'd finally hit 40mpg as a yearly average.
Up from 35 last year,
but this has humbled me,
so back I go to more serious modding of the nut and the aero.

I'm going for 55+mpg this tank and the next. I got my fuel warmer built and installed so I will see in a week if it helps. Blocking my front end and a new route to work have netted better numbers for me. Maybe next spring I'll do the head. I might just pick up another head, do a valve job, port it and tap the intake ports. Then all I have to do is drop my cam in it and go.

Just looking at what people have posted here is amazing. There was a time I thought cars could not hit EPA in the real world because their tests are "ideal conditions". I never knew their drivers were so aggressive. HA HA HA
