For me, a 15 mph (40 to 55) P&G gets me great FE, compared to steady throttle. I also coast a REALLY long ways to the stop signs. No EOC though...

I have this goofy looking writing on my back window. At least they know I won't do over 55 mph... thinking about changing it to show FE instead. Still waiting on that Hypermiler sticker.

Hmmm... I think everyone is still waiting on that sticker. I got an Email last week saying there were going to ship out more this week.

I like the MPH idea. Like you said at least they have a warning. Why not put both on there? Then they know both.

I finally got my timing dialed in this week. I am looking forward to the new FE results.

What are the octanes avaliable in your area?

here in nebraska we have 87, 89 with ethanol, and 92...some places there is 93 avaliable.

I use the 89 because its usualy 10-15 cents cheaper.

I may try the 92 with the adjusted timing and see if that makes a difference.

Way to go. I use my vac gauge and try to keep it as steady as I can. Friday I filled up and hit 59 MPG on my way to 60

It's not that bad, just take it slow. There are plenty people on this forum that can help, just post a question.

Wow!!! If I could get that with a Gen 2 Metro..... Wait I said that about 50mpg, too. Anyway, that is impressive!
