A front engine didn't prevent the VW Gol, the Fiat Uno and the Opel Corsa B to take some of the family-oriented market share of the Beetle in Brazil. Not sure if a mid-engined car would be suitable to that. |

Looks like a Karmann Ghia sedan, similar to the 1954 Studebaker sedan compared to the coupe.

Have a front engined VW. Its called a Golf TDI. Not as sexy as a rear engined Ghia, the engine requirements destroy the swoopy looks.

It was listed as a concept car that never made it into production in ‘55.
That’s all I know. The daily feed doesn’t give a full definition. But I like the randomness of the brand history that is shown.
