I thought this thread would be about heating the interior in cold climates or weather and feature a solar heater of some sort with a parabolic mirror and and fluids.

What I do is peel off the tint in the winter, add extra in the summer. I also put a black blanket in the rear in winter, white sheet over the rear in the summer.

Once I carried around empty boxes to take up room in the back to lessen the load on the ac.
That button would be a useful function.

I've considered walling off right behind the front seats with clear plastic as might be found on window kits or translucent drop cloths. If your gonna screw around with it, go all the way!

I have a standard cab Chevy S10 pickup truck. One thing I like about it is that the passenger cab is so much smaller than the passenger compartment in cars.

That means that it heats up and cools down that much faster!

Maybe all cars should have that center roll up window like in a limo! When you have no back passengers, roll it up and only heat or cool the front!

I had one of those roll up type of cargo cover in my Insight. I resold it as it left the back compartment too warm and the plug in kit I had kept cycling off cause it got too warm. I am going to add a second body vent just for the IMA blower to vent that exhaust out the back, then make better use of the second one so it better vent the ehaust and excess heat from the enginer kit out the drivers rear. I know in the winter once I drove for an hour, the cabin was toasty warm and little heat was needed. That was a good thing as use of the heat dropped mpg like a rock and inhibit EV mode as well as auto stop.
