Most modern cars automatically cut off the compressor at WOT, but it'd be nice to have it adjustable. I "pulse and glide" my A/C (i.e. one minute on, 3-8 minutes off, with the air set to recirculate) and I think it's been helping my numbers.

I don't use my A/C (yes, even here in South Georgia). It's been pushing 95-100 before the heat index the past couple of days here. I generally just crack 2 of my 4 windows (the only 2 that work) at highway speeds and roll the same two windows all the way down around the city.
