Wow, thats some boat anchor, I mean boat tail! How far does she coast now with no tail? Rear skirts would go nicely with tail II, hopefully the roughness friction factor will be improved.

The costing is nodicably less. P and G at 55-40 was my past optimal now its 55-35 to get the best results.

Question sir. When you installed the nosepiece, what kind of fuel economy difference did that make?
[edit] my condolences on the boat tail...

I added the nose and the rear belly pan on the same tank. My best estaminet is that the nose is good for about 2 mpg.

If you were getting 43mpg without the boat tail, then 2 mpg is about 4.5%. Better than I expected. Got plans to put a Kammback and a beak on my truck. Can hardly wait to hear the wife scream about that...

I am thinking I might paint the teeth back on.... or do something new.....
I am even thinking of making the tail again...... not sure i can do that 1000 miles from home but I want a fun project..... my commute right now is only 10 miles so the pay back is never I should get a longer commute so I can justify modding.......

10-miles
That's an enviable situation to be in!
A modest-range EV would be more than adequate.Although your winters would really put it to its limits.
Thanks for the tail, nose, and shark teeth.

Then you can mod for engine warm-up time and reduce weight.
I started sawing off extra bolt length on my cars, it's free ! (But not measurable )

I know a guy who used to race motorcycles. He claims he drilled holes lengthways through the middle of bolts to save weight.
That sounds tedious.
