The ad says 175/65/14 ... didn't the gen 1 Insights come with 165's?

Don't question it, go get them! I don't expect anything from CL ads until I at least talk to the poster, but especially until I see the item(s). Snatch that gravy up before someone else does.

R U CRAZEE? I'm not driving around with an unnecessary 20 cm of tire width!

(But I emailed the seller to confirm size)

Have you posted on insightcentral.net? Seems like that would be the best place to look for the gen 1 165's.

I usually dont post here, because I'm on insightcentral.net.

but the 165/65/14 RE92 are special and are LRR. They are also lighter and made of harder rubbers. They are actually even lighter than the 13" version of the RE92. So any other size other than 165/65/14 is not the special LRR Tires originally made for the Insight.

The 165/65/14" version weigh only 13lbs

There 3 versions of the 175/65/14. Weighing 16 and 15lbs. These were used on the Prius, Yaris and Echo.
