Not sure if I agree with the stripe and white front bumper, but that's a nice paint job. Would have looked great either blue or white.

Changed my commute route last night, and I think I'll stay on this route the entire tank to see the long term results!
I jumped about 8-10 mpg taking this new route, which is more highway and a long secondary road with no stop lights/signs.

Geez, that's nuts. What route are you taking now?
I just started taking Socrum Loop out to Lakeland Hills and going up that way. It's more traffic, but less lights. It's now 13 lights instead of 16.. traffic isn't so bad in the morning, but it's pretty bad when I leave, still.
I still have gotten a .5 mpg increase since I've started taking the new route, though, even though it has a long section of bumper to bumper traffic.
As far as I know, there's no other way to the office.

I'm jumping on I-4 at Kathleen, taking I-4 all the way past the parkway to 559 (where Love's truck stop is), 559 all the way down past Lake Ariana, then the back road behind the orange juice factory to Recker.
It's pretty much a trade-off, since I go farther but get better mpg doing it. Takes about the same amount of time plus I get to go by the lake twice a day!

Dang. That's a nice trip. Wish I was heading East or West instead of North and South.
[edit 3/27] Another recal. So far on this tank I go two days with a recal, one day without. It's killing my mpg. It's down to 67.6 on the FCD so far ( from 71.7 ), which is more like 65.6 in reality. Can't wait to finally be able to grid charge this thing.
