Work sucks, I have to actually do something most of the week other than play with a car

So today I didn't have to work so I worked on the car as usual. I finished up the main structure of the frame today. I bent and fit the drivers side rail then joined the sides together so I have a nice structure to start building the rest of the car on tomorrow if the weather doesn't get super cold.

Weather was still good enough today to get some work done on the car. So I did the hardest part today, making the roll bar. I just got the main hoop done, I will do the bracing later but I figure getting that bar in and square was a good bit done today.

Sweet! Looks pretty good. What's the height compared to the top of the windsheild?

It is about 2-3 inches lower than the top of the windshield. I am probably going to have to adjust it a tiny bit though. It hits a bolt on the top frame on the passenger side when opening and closing the top so something is 1/4 inch off somewhere. Other than that it works great as is. That one small pic on my last post is with the top closed and a seat put in. Here it is larger:

It was cold today. So I didn't do much other than permanently cure the rust problems in the trunk

Looking good Coyote X. But wowsers, anyone else see those few specks of rust on her? Looking forward to seeing more.

got a lot more of the rear cut off. The rear suspension is all mounted to the new frame except for the shock top mount. I will get that next.

The rear isn't quite as hard as it looked like it was going to be so if I am lucky it will be finished tomorrow and I can start on the front end.

Almost have the back done. All the bracing and stuff is finished. The only thing left is to finish cutting the old unibody junk away and the back is complete.
