Grand Prix GTP

Hey guys, I'm new here and I wanted to get some input on my car

I have a 2001 grand prix gtp and I was wondering if there is anything that I can do to increase mpg.
I don't want to change the appearance or lower the performance (I know, not much room for improvement)

The only mpg mod I added is some E3 diamond fire
Sparkplugs

Future addons would be:
LLR tires from perelli
K&n cold air intake
Ram air hood (might not because of the price)

Current mpg:
Normal driving: 22
Econ driving: 23-24

Welcome.

The LLR tire will help some. Forget the K&N cold air intake and ram air hood. I would recomend you stick with the stock plugs. Do some research on this site for pros and cons of K&N and aftermarket plugs, then make your own decisions. I would just kept the engine and car well maintained.

Driving style is going to give you the most bang for the buck. Resist the urge to use that super charger.

If you're boostin, you're losin MPGs. My 2001 Regal GS had the same supercharged 3.8L, and granted it was geared slightly differently (I think), but I'd routinely get 33+MPG. Being feather-light on the go pedal helps considerably.

Not specifically under a certain RPM that I remember... I'd let off on the downhills until it started flattening out again, maybe give it a bit more gas before an uphill would start. Watch how the 18-wheelers drive with their momentum, it's a great lesson.

I seem to remember someone telling me that the vehicle would "learn" the driving pattern and adjust accordingly. For instance, stomp on it around town, it learns to adapt to that, but if you drive like a grandpa would drive a regular Buick, it adapts to that. Not sure if there was truth to it, but it did seem plausible based on how the car reacted over time.
