buy a fin comb (check amazon or a refrigeration/ heating cooling company), should be $6-8 and will bend them back without breaking them. I did this to a 80 ton cooling unit, took 3 hours but doubled the air flow

I didn't even realize such a thing existed. Looks like they have them in stock at my local auto parts store.
go easy with it, you do not want to bend it too far or too fast or break it off. If it offers a lot of resistance, use a pocket knife to start it bending back. Yyper mile it and your ok
