grille mod

I have a rather flat, non descript grille block now on my '06 Dakota. My plan is to build a new block that will extend to the front bumper following the lines of the down sloping hood.

My question, to all of you aero gurus out there is this: On the horizontal plane, do I use the arc that would extend to the outside edge of the vehicle, or the arc that would end at the inside edge of the headlights?

I know the best would be to totally redesign the front end into a smooth rounded hemishere, but I'm not quite to that level yet.

So, waddaya think?

The arc should go to the outer edge of the vehicle, and blend smoothly into the side
