...maybe he learned (doubt it though) that the game of "follow the leader" can suddenly change into one of the "tail wagging the dog" as the leader waves "goodbye" and yells "...you're IT!"

Should've lightly braked through the tight part of the turn. The guy probably would have jammed on the brakes and ended up facing backwards.

The Geo Metro handles quite well for what it is. I got slightly wider tires with good traction on my 1998 Metro and it handles like a cat on carpet. I can take corners at speeds that are ludicrous.

If I get tailgated I slow down. Eventually they get the message but not always. I had one guy down to 10 once before he worked it out.

Funnily though a lot of steering wheel warriors don't seem to brave when you step out at the lights for a quiet "word"...
