ZZ Topper gets unemcumbered milage test.

WIN_20151022_131110

My ZZ Topper with Ausable River Boat project.

This summer I was able to drive a long distance without a kayak or bike racks or pulling a boat. On trip across from Toledo to Pennsylvania, this summer with 2 adults and gear got as high as 22.4 MPG where I would expect 17.5- 19 MPG at freeway speeds with my 4.6L Tundra. This was not a tightly controlled test but when I win the Scanguage I can do better. After picking up form frames in Mystic Seaport for a strip built Lobster Boat which stuck partly out of the bed and did not allow the tailgate to close, the return trip same route and only 300# more gear and compromised airflow profile yielded the mid 17s as I'd expect with empty bed(no aerocap type capper).

Happy birthday EcoModder!

Been too busy aeromodding and testing a new car to post much but the birthday drawing brought me back to the forum.

the envelope please...

1199 posts were made in the contest period, with the post ID range of 501930 to 503129. (If you want to know what your personal odds were: divide that by the number of posts you made. Your odds were one in whatever number you come up with.)

We used the True Random Number Generator at RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service to choose the winning four post ID's from that range.

Winners: please send Tim (Daox) a PM with your snail mail details to claim your prizes.

Congratulations & thanks to everyone for taking part, especially Linear Logic for the ScanGauges.

Merry Christmas, all!
