I removed my *hat* (because I've already won something before) so somebody ELSE should be awarded the decals. Daox...pick someone!

Well this is the first time THIS has ever happened:

Nobody claimed their prizes!

I mean, I realize the forum is slower than normal with gas prices the way they are, but seriously? Nobody wants a free ScanGauge??

So I PM'd the winners just now, but in the future I think we'll add a little disclaimer along the lines of "prizes unclaimed within N days go back into the hat for a fresh draw."

Old Tele Man: thanks for that! I'll draw another name now.

So the fine print for the next contest should include confiscation of one's car if they don't claim their prize.

At the very least they should get a "Couldn't care less about" sticker to put above the Ecomodder one and provide proof they actually put it on

That sticker could be put to other uses too. I could use a bunch

Joking aside, my hat is off to Old Tele man for generously redonating his prize.
Glad to be a modder, even more so for this.

We can all agree that Old Tele Man is a nice guy. I get it. But did you know that he declined the Ecomodder decal because it would've pushed him in to the next tax bracket? By declining the prize, he saved himself US$100,000.

BTW, move over a little. Canada is about to get a little more crowded. This year, one of my sisters and I (Americans now) are going to claim out Canadian birthright. Our Mom or Mum as you like to call 'em, was Canadian when we were born. My other sister, we believe, was born after my Mum renounced her Canadian citizenship to become an American. Tough luck for her. In those days the US only allowed one citizenship.
