I've noticed that Frank seems a little more grumpy than usual the last month or so!
Have you pumped up your tires to at least 40#'s? Are all the tires exactly the same
brand wise, and size?
Have you jacked the car up to see if there is any unusual resistance in spinning each tire with your hand?
Have parents check out your front suspension ( tie rods, that sort of thing)
Wheel bearings, brake calipers dragging?
DO you have that slower road you can use instead of the Interstate? Is it nearly
as flat, and hopefully doesn't have too many stoplights???

I go 55 down the interstate; whoever wants to go 80 is free to pass whenever they want. It is legal to go 45 so unless I'm going 44 down the interstate everyone behind me can sthu.

Classic Frank! I totally agree, except I'd be doing 50mph.
Mr. Student: Are you in a somewhat populated area for this long commute?
Only a 2 lane freeway?
Check out thread Getting the bird at onramps, and Are you visible?

Links are handy

I couldn't locate the Are you visible thread

Anyway, I avoid the expressway if possible. If i do go on it, I travel around 60mph. Never get people in front of me, so there is always plenty of room for the person merging on the highway, if not i'm willing to slow down a bit for them to have a gap.

Put up my first fuel log. I was surpised that I am getting 22 mpg now that I have slowed down and did a oil change. Makes me wonder how high I can get it...

(April 13th - dear diary: Frank Lee exhibited overt self-restraint today! I thought it was worth noting.)
OK, ok...
Mustangwill: the MPG difference has nothing to do with your oil change. Coincidence.
Congrats on seeing an improvement though. There's more where that came from if you want it.
