The ones who put $1 as the price for something they actually want $8k for are easier to weed out.

I thought that it drove fine, but I remember the mechanic showed extensive oxidational lightening. Strangely, it drove very poorly from the shop.

What's with the lettering on the '98 SL's windshield? Auction car? No plates either.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Here is another 1st gen Civic hybrid. Very little info. If it has lower miles I'd really be interested despite the higher price.

2002 honda civic hybrid converted to reg. 40 mpg

I was wondering why you weren't goin after this one more. I've had pretty weak response rates emailing people on CL. i think some people that list their phone, don't check, or get a lot of spam that they ignore in the email. I don't think I've ever actually sold something on craigslist to a person that first contacted me through email when I included my ph number in the listing.
From the pics the sl looks pretty clean, think I'd definitely look at that one before the 97 sc, and it's a vehicle you could hit your 1200 goal on

Last week was ridiculously busy so I didn't get a chance to check it out. I liked the car but just didn't have time to go look at it.

I just called the guy and got some more info. I'll take a look at it tonight.

I got both the Black Widow and the Turtle through Craigslist, but I never just search blindly.

I always type in the model name, then I filter by "title" and "pics".
You won't get all the spam ads if you click "title". And I never bother calling about anything on C/L that doesn't include a pic (and I also bypass all "stock" pics).
I always call, and text too just in case. If I get an answering machine I always leave a message. If they provide an email address I also email just in case. Any hot item will go quickly in my market, and it pays to be the first to leave a message on somebody's phone.
