Fuel log (click on the link on the left of my posts) says I fill up with about 60-62 litres.

A quick google says the tank size is 70 so maybe I could get another 100 or so miles

This tank is "enhanced" by the trip from which the photo comes from (out of town...) and also it is the first tank since the front alignment was done.

Tank to tank changes may take a looooong time to measure on this car.

Iv had 750m out of 49l in my 12 year old astra without difficulty, mainly commuting 10m each way many cold starts, so i think a kilo tank is certainly possible in yours.

I do wonder how "easy" it would be to attain the factory figures in modern cars.

Those are pretty good figures, what type of profile is your daily drive ? Unfortunately I live in Edinburgh so traffic management is very very bad.

About 2 miles around town and 8 on 70mph dual cariage way. Not much stop start, thankfully.

Made it to 800 - wanted to get an image dead on but nowhere to stop for .8 miles...

Managed another 10 or so miles and filled up. Getting closer to 50 MPG US which for mostly town driving in stop-start isn't bad.

Going to go for another 800 before the weather turns for winter - it already has here in North Britain as anyone interested in Golf will know. Might not get an 800 tank as I'm on hols in a couple of weeks time and that isn't enough time to get to 800 in my normal commute.
