It does brush on like paint but its real runny.
But it dries really slow.
I think it was about $15 for each container. One container should be enough to do 2 exhaust manifolds or one header.

I priced that and other coatings and it was not cost effective at all to send parts away to be coated.

Are you putting the coating only on the outside or inside and out? Exhaust manifold(s) only or turbo too?
$15 bucks is cheap--especially for those of us with only one exhaust manifold.

I am puting on very heavy out side coats and a thin and light coat on the inside where I know the surface has been sand blasted.

I have been getting pretty good loaded and towing MPGs when I got back down near sea level.
The LiFePO4 battery swap has been doing good. I now have room to install my Gast compressor where the drivers side battery use to be and put an air cleaner where the passanger side battery use to be.
The rear springs have had it and with 100 pounds of battery gone from the front its riding nose high and ass down worse than ever with a load of tools in the back and the trailer hooked up.
Did first aero mod, http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...eel-22003.html
lumina wheel covers, they are kind of lame but I like them.
Loaded and towing I was able to consistantly hit 20mpg+. On one run I drove it extra easy for 250 miles following my friend who always drives under 60mph and I hit 24.5mpg, I thought the fuel sender was acting up again.
I am canceling the plans to replace the yoko AT-S tires with LLR. I thought the tires were hurting fuel milage worse than they really are, turns out it was the bitter cold winter, thin air and cross winds.

The HE351VE turbocharger is going on.
I am using a banks turbo manifold on the passanger side and a passanger side HMMWV manifold turned around backwards on the drivers side.
Just need to cope a cross over pipe and make a T3 to HE351VE flange adaptor.
The straight flange adaptors on ebay wont cut it. I need the turbo to be raised up and turned slightly.

All is not as easy as it seems.
The HMMWV manifolds require a odd sized 2.618'' (about 2 and 5/8'') compressed doughnut/ball/mushroom gasket, not 2.5 inch like I had originally thought.
The part number for the HMMWV manifold gasket is:
EDIT the correct GM part number: 15035747 appears to be close enough
Data page for the real part.
http://www.dlis.dla.mil/webflis/pub/...9738&newpage=1
The GM parts web site says they can get it for $20.
I think that gasket will fit a 2.5 inch 6.5T OE style pipe close enough. If not I am sure I can make it fit.
The banks manifold does not use the OEM style gasket.
I believe it requires a 2'' header collector flange with a 2 inch pipe. I don't know where to get a 2 inch header style flange so I will just have to make one out of the old pipe.
EDIT: I was able to convert the OE style flange to a flat collector style flange very quicly with nothing more than a hammer and it looks really good.
I will hand cut a copper gasket for the banks since sourcing gaskets is proving to be very time consuming.
The cross over pipe is a little more than half way done, but I am out of good 2 inch pipe and I don't want to use the crinkle bent stuff they have at advanced auto and auto zone.
