I like the Mooncraft front bumper, but I feel the wing is a step backward for what we usually build our cars for... not a bad look though...

It seems pretty tame for a Mooncraft kit.

You can be sure my Insight will not be receiving any drag-adding components.

So what is your build costing versus the base LHT package? I see they offer 60 day build times which is enticing lol.

I'm in around $15,000 all said and done, maybe 11k parts and 4k labor since I lack facilities to do a lot of this, especially in winter. I could probably have shaved parts down $3-4,000 depending on what I was willing to give up.

Had some fun out on the ice today.
I managed 22.5mpg with my foot to the floor in 2nd gear for an hour. Car also had no temperature problems even with a 100% grille block.

Brian over at Hasport has started modifying his Insight - he'll be putting engine mounts up for sale as soon as they're tested. So, hoping not too much longer.
Brian is a huge fan of these cars. I think he has owned 4-5 at this point.

Hasport's mounts are done. "Going into production very soon." This is the last part I needed before the engine goes in.
