The "funny lever" is your clutch, I have the DCT so I don't have one (just failing at being funny i guess)

I have thought about wrapping the fake duct covers in super reflective grey vinyl if I can find some, other than that I really like the grey/dark grey....

So I did 301.6 miles today. 25 miles on narrow gravel mountain road, about 175 more on twisty two lane paved mountain roads and the rest on interstate.

I stopped at 212.6 miles (just as the last segment of the fuel gauge started to flash) and got 2.731 gallons for 77.84 mpg. I didn't top off the tank after the last 89 miles home.

I had the boxes on but nothing in them. Total elapsed time was 7:45, but 45 min of that was lunch.

I was pleased with the MPG, I didn't do anything other than ride and obey the posted limits, so I feel pretty comfortable that I have a 200 mile adventure range without carrying extra fuel (which I plan to do, and am thinking about how)

PICS
at the Montana/Idaho I-90 border

Lookout Pass Ski Resort

the 50k Silver Dollar restaurant and gift shop(more like 75k). The silver dollars are all on display and yes you can count them all if you care to!

Great little espresso/ice cream shop in Haugan Mt. The woman that runs the place has everything decorated and painted like M&M's, even her personal 4x4 Jeep!

Although it looks really rough on the outside, it is an awesome place to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner! They have a Chef's special every night of the week, my fav is the seafood platter or the Prime Rib dinner!

There is a brand new leftover 2015 CTX700 sitting on the floor of my dealer for $5,500. Very little love among the general public for the most fuel efficient motorcycle engine ever made.

I know honda did some modification to the 1300cc V4 in the CTX 1300 to shift power down vs the ST 1300, but did they do anything different for the CTX 700 vs NC 700X?
