how do i locate my speed sensor wire and injector wire?

hi

i don't think my vauxhall corsa has OBD2. i couldn't find it so i am planning on installing the mpguino. i have ordered a haynes manual for my car so hopefully that will shed some light.

is there an easy way to find the wires -can you trace them from the ECU or spedometer/injectors? is there a standardized colour scheme? can your multimeter help you?

there are loads of wires in a big bundle around the steering wheel, how do i know which ones?

im pretty confident i can put together the mpguino but its the vehicle interface bit which worries me!

If you can find a manual for the car, locate the ECU. From there, use pinouts for the ECU (should be in the manual, tells you what each pin/wire goes to) to figure out which wires you need, then just tap those.

i've found a plug with two wires coming out of the gearbox is this the speed sensor?

i think i know where my injector plug is but the wires are really well compacted and heat shielded. it gonna be a job and a half to get at them.
