I like the hand file idea, for now I'm trying to talk to my buddy and see what it would cost to have these babies machined at his work.

worst come to worst, the file will be my best friend!

Thats how you see a ball vanish from a ball bearing. A piece of metal gets stuck in a race and the ball wears away.

I cant say my honda suffers from much wheel spin if at all. Not something Id rush out to do either. Better tires, psi adjustment, etc is what you need.

I use to be able to do burn outs with my sidekick with the stock size centennial S(P?)tires. Since I went up 3 sizes to better tires it chirps and grips hauling ass.

Being that the limited slip block is made from aluminum if anything will wear it will be it and its filings will be soft aluminum. I believe its just CNC aluminum so ( I think) it is the weakest link / sacrificial metal. The gear needs to be true or it could rub and eat the aluminum in short order.
