Well after 600+ miles with the upper block on, no issues at all. Just lots of looks!

Update:
I did some steady state ABA testing today.... with a .71 MPG gain!

A=44.88
B=45.73
A2= 45.15

For this little amount of work, that is a rather large gain in my book!

These results are just from the improvement in aerodynamics. Warm up gains were not counted in that .71MPG number. I do not have good data for warm up MPG gain, I do have warm up distance numbers: no grill block miles to 180F (when thermostat opens) 5 miles, with upper grill bock it is 3 miles.

Couldn't you keep the badge airhole and put a squirrel fan over it? That way you could run the engine super-hot with a few heaters. Also, it could potentially replace the radiator fan.

EDIT: Actually, since you live in colder weather, It's best to just forgo a squirrel fan.

If you look at the before and after picts, I think it looks very bad to leave the logo open. besides I have the lower gill 100% open at this point (more plans in the works).

I will also add my data to the wiki shortly.
