I didn't watch the video that close, did he mention why he didn't remove the inner door panels?

Yes he did.

They require you keep the door panels if your windows still operate, in case the glass shatters inside the door.

Did he take new tires and shave half the tread off? Does he only fill the tank to halfway?

When you strip everything unnecessary off, you end up with a motorcycle that's way faster and more fuel efficient. My bike probably goes for $2k in non pandemic times.

I completely don't understand this statement...
If windows are UP - door panels will not affect anything... If windows are down - you probably not in the race, so who cares about the glass...
May be it comes from some street-legal requirement?
