I feel for you, trying to drive good in a bad place! My cross country travels are not super numerous, but I've driven in 47 states, and had 2 incidents w people in the Chicago area. My hat's off to you for trying.

You might have to go back 4 pages or so to find some good driving advice in the driver's ed section on here. Finding the getting the bird on onramps post there!
Above all; MIRROR drive to the hilt, and block when you need to!!!!!!!!!!!!!
