I think this country's motto is, "Rush. Time is money"

Maybe this economic crisis will make us rethink that motto. All the current unemployed have the time and not the money now. Good time to unlearn some of our bad habits. (present company excluded of course).

It is kind of hard doing our part to conserve while seemingly the whole nation doesn't care. This site is a good collection of the caring. I hope it spreads.
I thought I had it posted here, but when I looked for it, turns out I never did.
I will in a moment...

ok, here are the details http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...html#post98368

I don't mind if some people think I'm an idiot. With the stickers, at least one or two people may catch on. Its better here in the San Fransisco Bay area (CA) than I'm sure it is in many places.

Thanks for posting the info regarding your story. Interesting and unfortunate. Just might happen to me someday.
I just thought of another drawback- since you are going slow you are the only one he can or is willing catch.
I also have adopted "who cares if they think I'm an idiot". It helps. Besides the people thinking this don't care or even know they themselves are perceived as one.

Oh trust me, they can and will catch you for going to fast too.
In my younger days I was a very different driver.
This is how I know that Kawasaki's Ninja 250 motorcycle tops out at 110mph.
I had a 50 mile commute, and got enough tickets that the DMV sent me a letter warning me that I was two points away from a suspended license.

I was thinking of making a note of the exact vehicle code on the minimum speed law and keeping it in the car, just in case, though I bet my stickers are enough to prevent it in the future.
