google maps is great for that. Alot of states promote highway use for city to city, portland maine to bangor is an example of not only a shortcut, it shaves almost 45 minutes, while going slower, on a scenic route of curves and hills...staying off the highway. I simply learned it because maine is backwards with truck weight limits, for some unbeknownst reason, the law put them on back leaning easily breakable roads. Anyway, the map verified it as a shortcut, like taking the inner part of a half circle versus the outer. simply so..

has anyone searched around streetview in thier neghborhood and found thier own car driving? I found mine, about a block from my place, struff in the back, full to the roof. The date of photo claims 2004, but it is really 2007... LOL.
