And that brings me back to this inspiration- an old dirt tracker that used early (round body) Falcon fenders:

did it , looks like this ,florida wont allow it on the road

and here is a link to more
https://daytonahybrids.com/streamliner-prius/

with a stock prius battery it gets 38 mpg,
with a 10kw pack it gets 40 miles EV.

Indiana had no problem with licensing it, florida said " put the turn signals and headlights in a different place" or fu*k off

That's awesome!

Here's my '67 Volkswagen with a Miata inside. It only gets ~25 mpg though

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a miata EV conversion for sale

I haven't settled on a body shape, or anything.
With a 30% efficient engine and 95% efficient drive train you basically have a straight line between a 2727kg car with zero drag area and a massless car with .485m² drag area to play with.

Allowed mass as a function of drag area: (kg and m²)

There is a LOT more power in Gasoline over Natural or Propane gasses.
What does it mean for fuel to have power, and what are the numbers?

Energy density might have been a better way for him to describe it. Fuel with more energy/volume means less is used to do the same amount of work. A good example would be gasoline vs ethanol. You get worse fuel economy on ethanol because it takes a larger volume of it to do the same amount of work as gasoline.

Not sure on the numbers

What does the plot line represent?

That's pretty sweet, but the front facade and the mix of metal and fabric panels is... unfortunate. And putting the headlights under the fabric skin is a deal-killer in my estimation. Front turn signals aren't visible from the offside.

Your work? Ignore my opinion.

The line represents 100mpg.

If you have a car that weighs 1000kg then your max drag area is 0.306m².

If the car is small with a frontal area 1.5m², then your max Cd is 0.204.
