The price is for a finished piece, shipped to my door. Here's a screenshot to their ad. It's hard to tell with AliExpress vendors.

There can be no way at that price it can be true CF, I hope for your sake I am wrong, but it may meet your needs 100% anyway so good luck,

My next question, how big do I make them? 280? 305? 370?

I think I would aim for them to fit just inside the outer lip of the wheel. Unless you think you want them smaller to allow for brake cooling.

How do the plastic caps work to hold on the wheel covers, and where can I get them?
EDIT: I see the caps have a lip, and it appears that snugs up against the wheel covers and pulls them against the wheel. Clever, but I'd need to be careful about the height of the lug caps.

The caps snap onto the wheel covers, so they don't fall off when you loosen them.

' brakes to breathe '

One idea I've had for an aesthetic attachment point, is to use "spike" lug nuts, and remove the spike, so I have something threaded to bolt onto.
I'm uncertain what material to use. I'd like the finished product to look as professional as possible. One idea I have is to use moon discs, and drill 4 holes in a lug pattern to attach them to spiked lug nuts. I could also (instead) get a flat aluminum disc, and possibly paint it or put a Honda logo on it. A third option is some kind of clear disc, polycabonate or similar. Ideally I'd keep weight to a minimum.
For edge-to-edge fitment with no air gap, I'd need something 14.5 inches or 370mm in diameter. If I wanted something that still allowed the brakes to breathe a bit, I could reasonably go as small as 330mm or 13.0 inches.
Ideas?

You might take a look at the 1992 GM 'Ultralite' concept car. Like the Miata, it's an ICE car, with no regen, and in a worse-case-scenario, might 'need' some wheel cover 'ventilation' to protect the brakes from warpage.
GM located their 'breathing' perforations immediately adjacent to the rim.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Those 'un-used' , extra four holes on the wheels, between the chamfered lug holes might give you an extra option for some 'attachment'?

Going to give the carbon fiber discs a shot, 280mm, so not out to the wheel edge, but covers the center drum and doesn't need a notch for the valve stem. Partially this is to keep the shipping and materials cost down, partially for weight (and concerns about the material holding together). I've also found some 38mm tall lug nuts that are threaded all the way through, and purchased some M12x1.5 12mm black anodized allen screws, along with some washers. Might be a few weeks for arrival. Will update with pics once it arrives.

Just waiting for it to be ready to be picked up. It's at the body shop and last I heard they had primer on it. Could be next week, could be several weeks, they're not hurrying.
