This thread reminds me, earlier this month I saw these:
1953 Studebaker Champion, customized by George Barris; across the room from this:
And this interesting thing:

That's some of Barris' more tasteful work. Was the Opel not in Tacoma? This picture was taken there and I believe it to be a Studebaker (pre-Loewy)
And a 1951 bullet-nose Starlight (not Starliner) coupe with it's 4-piece back window

Stance, wheels and tires. Or is it that the right-hand wiper has been ecomodded away?
Tuzil — My first (& only convertible) Beetle was a 1958, Black on Black. That's the 1303 in Marino Yellow (L20A).
My favorite VW color is Shantung Gold (L12D), here on my current 1302. The flat-screen Superbeetle had two years of production and the old steering wheel and dashboard.

Just for RedDevil:
"The designer was Robert E Bourke, an employee of Raymond Loewy Associates. Loewy recognized the genius of the design, and represented it as his own."

Top of the list
AC Cobra
Then
1969 Mach1 or Boss or Shelby
1919 Model A Pickup
Mostly I think would own/drive as many as possible, then get something different.

I'm not discriminating enough. Give me a giant quanset and I'll fill it right up with whatever I get my grubby mitts on.
But I've always wanted a 356 Speedster replica.

I look at the 2017 Black GT 350 Shelby in my local Ford Store with interest.
