Hi,

If it died next year, I'd get a Honda Fit Hybrid. If it was right now, it would be a Fit Sport standard shift.

I would buy blackduececoupe's civic as it already has women in it, plus i might inherit his IQ and i would throw in a Metro as part of the deal, saw one yesterday limping off to the scrap yard.

Honda's don't die! They more often get retired early so I can go pull parts off of them. Never gonna buy a new car again.

if my car died today...

brand new Scion tC
5-speed

I've been eyeing em for a while now, i plan to buy one in 2 years, unless there's a substantial reason for me to hold out for a little longer to get an EV.

I do think im gonna try to build an electric motorcycle within the next 2 years. especially if i get stationed in the south.

I thought they had an optional 6-speed? As for the motor -- a 2.4 liter is pretty big...

Yeah, If I had a tC, I always had this imaginary conversation with a Corolla/Echo/Scion Xa/b owner :

Me : Wanna trade my Scion tC engine for your [smallest engine Toyota makes that will fit] engine?
him/her : What?!?!?!?! In a hearbeat!!!!

i didn't know there was a 6spd option.

as far as the 2.4L engine...

You only live once and I want the first new car I own to be a fun car. (and its epa ratings are better than my corolla). I'm all for saving money and i still plan to anything that i drive. I just cant see myself as a 24yr old Air Force Officer (Maybe pilot!) who's driving a car just to break a 50-60 MPG mark. Besides, im pretty sure i can pull down 40+ MPG's in the TC

if it was legal i would get the tata nano, talk about cheap and light.
$2,500 new, 50 mpg gasoline. It is from india so probably wouldn't be "safe"
they are making an electric vehicle for thailand.

seriously though i'd prob buy a corolla
