Why did you choose those angles instead of trying to match the other piece of trim?

The OEM piece actually has a chamfered edge. My piece is flat. Its simply the outer profile as the 3d printer prints it from the outside in. You're seeing the pattern the 3d printer took as it made the piece.

I think the angles made by the print head give the part a 3-D look in the pic that isn't really there.

angle of the dangle. look at the 2nd pic and from the back it's clearly flat.

It's like looking at a plowed field from altitude. But the question persists, why didn't you match the chamfer on the triangle attached to the body?

I may add the chamfer on it later. For now, I just needed to see if it would fit up. Get it functioning first, then make it pretty later.
