I did some more testing today and now I'm at almost a half tank and around 320 miles on this tank. My instant read out is at 64.2 mpg. Most of the driving today was around a 52 mph average. So if my over size tires are 4.5% taller then I should be around 67 mpg? If this is the case I will be absolutely delighted.

The math doesn't add up to 67mpg. I'm at 68mpg for my tank, at half a tank and at 407 miles so far. If you were only 1mpg behind me at 4.5% you should be somewhere around 360-380 miles on your trip (plus 4.5% means it would be +~20 miles, equaling 380-400 miles). I have pretty fresh Re92's so my odo should be within 1-2%.
[Edit]: I didn't see you said you were 'almost' at half a tank. Keep an eye on your gas gauge, if it hits half between 360 and 380 miles you are probably around 67mpg. Just remember you would be 73-76 with Re92's.

I should know more after this weekend, unless our weather forecast is correct. We are suppose to have 40 mph wind gust today and into Sunday. If this happens I'm not going to drive the car. I want a good baseline run without to many variables. If I can run I'm going to make the next stint my 42 mph commute test. This should bring up the mileage another 1 mpg?
I'm starting to get the feel of this car especially the lean burn part. The only complaint I have so far is the seat is a little uncomfortable after a couple hours my right leg starts cramping. So I might change the seat someday.

It cost me $137 to register and title a $175 trailer. Talk about a ripoff.

Sometimes I don't understand our gubberment.
Even the lady at the DMV said all the employees working there think the Hybrid deal is not fair.

It is not a simple bolt in job, the rails in the Insight are 14"apart while the S2000 chairs sit on 16" rails.
Nonetheless, it has been done more than once: see f.i. s2000 seat install - Insight Central: Honda Insight Forum

Update:
Just finished my first tank on the Insight.
69.4 mpg
I'm very pleased with the first tank. I'm really starting to get the car dialed when it comes to driving. It acts a lot like my Talon when it comes to Lean-Burn.
I did reset the toe in and now its at 0. It had about 1.5mm toe in on the front and the rear is at 0, so no changes made to the rear.
Well I'm very happy with a great baseline to work with

When you get into that high a mpg, little things become very significant. The RE 92s, when I replaced them on my Insight the mileage did not change one bit.
On my VX it dropped 7 mpg when I put on Michelin X tires. A lot of the lrr tires have less tread depth. The OE tires on my Mirage are 8/32 tread depth. Many tires are 11/32 and some even more.
Keep the ones you have inflated as high as you can tolerate. At 50 psi versus 40 your lean burn will probably engage 15-20% more, everything else being equal.

Thanks Mech for the Info once again.
I think I will bring up the tire pressure now to 50psi. Our forecast for this Month is for much cooler temps around 75 for the high. So I think I will be safe?
