This seems to be a unique wheel layout? I wonder how it steered?

...*if* both the front and rear wheels were "steerable" then its turning radius would be limited only by the included angle between the steering wheels...and the power wheels' ability to overcome the scrubbing of the 'other' steered wheel.

So the engine is in the rear, driving the two center wheels, and it steers using both the front and rear wheels? That's pretty freaking cool. Must have been interesting getting cooling air up into the radiator. I wonder if any of these cars are around today?
The overhead shot of the nose looks exactly like rear of aeroheads trailer.
