Legend has it that the Discoverer was the first motorhome to get tested in a wind tunnel—although using Shinoda’s 1:25 scale mock-up.

Shenanigans. 1/25th scale would work in a water tunnel, but a wind tunnels needs 1/5th or 1/4th scale.

The 1963 Clark Cortez may not have had 'wind tunnel time' but it lacks those hard 90° edges.

The trunk access is like nothing else I've seen.
And the raised lip at the edge of the hood near the wipers is brilliant.

The trunk reminds me of the VW Golf/Rabbit Cabriolet.

spotted this Citroen Maserati on CL nearby. Surely a big inefficient engine, but nice rear skirts and profile

It was the type but not the same car. The listed one was white and rather tattered, missing the glass headlight shield a.o.
