Just A Car Guy: just because it's only cgi doesn't mean a thing... someone drew up a new Henderson that was what they might have made in 1930

Su-weet.

I like the shiny skegs/exhaust. But maybe angled outward like a 1961 Olds.

Angled outward means they drag on turns

I'm not trying to defend that idea, I know it's questionable, but...

The lowest point is at the wheel.

Hm, not very aerodynamic, but he's certainly reduced the frontal area quite a bit.

The VW ID.3 has a Cd of 0.26! Very impressive for a hatchback.

I think that was just a typo (or confusion with the Model 3 mentioned just before); the guy in the video said 0.26, but it isn't official.

ETA: If it is 0.26, that's very good, especially compared to something like the Bolt which is a similar shape but 0.32. Goes to show how much details matter.

Bear in mind that, the frontal area has nothing to do with the front of the vehicle. It's the overall shadow of the body, projected from dead-ahead,or from dead-behind,with coherent light,as sunlight,or laser light.
