I like the smartphone part. I mostly used an old ipad attached in front of the stereo on a 99 e200 mb.
The multimedia and gauges will fall behind the times rather quickly, but one upgrades their phone to something relatively recent.
The drones are only a showcase idea in my opinion.

I've got an iPod Touch, but I think I need to jailbreak it to regain the functionality of one that was stolen.
I'm Okay with the drone because they're supposed to dock at the front of the roof rack, although they're not shown there. Which means you could park at night and do light paintings.

Why do you say that? Given the use case.
Which thread am I not going to move it to, because that would be complicated?

That is not a low aerodynamic drag vehicle. There is the oddities thread, or the unaerodynamic thread.

Are those from this year?
NeilBlanchard — Consider the use case. The roof rack and ground clearance is a given. The nose is better than a Jeep, the sides are interesting (maybe more for visibility than low drag) with Tropfenwagen fenders, and the rear seems to echo current CUV thinking.
You're hoping for a pontoon fendered off-road car?
