The part I like is that the fit and finish are superior to, for instance, Aerocivic.

I appreciate that. Spent months just getting the bodywork and fitment satisfactory.

Two good ones today on Just A Car Guy:

Steve McQueen's last ride was in this camper truck

there's always someone with too much time on their hands, and too many junkyard parts to play with

That second one is important to me since I saw this in Popular Science & Mechanix Illustrated in the 1970s, and I'd never forgotten it. Now I have a source. If I had a Jeep, I'd definitely want to do this, maybe as a lift-off top.

I didn't recall that raised hood.

It's now powered by a specially modified 2.5 litre, 5-cylinder engine capable of 992bhp.

It achieved 7 land-speed records at Elvington Racetrack in June 2021, and is prepped for the June 17th 200mph record attempt..
Note the spoiler, secondary windscreen and spats on the door hinges.

Built in 1982, this is an example of excellent fit and finish.

Yes it's an open wheel car but [half] the radius arms, the shock absorbers and the steering drag link are all buried inside the bodywork.

' SUPERTRUCK 2 '

They don't provide any specific aero information, when they are clearly in possession of it, requiring us all to do all the reverse-engineering in order to parse out what it is that they actually accomplished.

That Kenworth reminds of the streamliner steam locomotives from the 30's.

Don't think I've seen this here...
