I was hoping they'd explain the blanking plate behind the rear-view mirror and the nacelle above the windshield.
Don't know why they didn't chamfer the nose like a Cybertruck.

LUCID Gravity: quoted as a cd of 0.24 for the preproduction model.
Quote:
with a few more improvements to the underbody's design to help wrap airflow around suspension components like tie rod ends and ball joints, the Gravity will dip below its current 0.24 coefficient of drag.

Pretty impressive for an SUV.

AUTO UNION Type-52
Dr. Erwin Komenda, of PORSCHE at the time, is responsible for the body design of the Type- 52.
In side elevation, most of the roofline stays very close to the contour that doctoral candidate Wolfgang Klemperer chose for his Cd 0.15 streamline half-body, that he measured, along with Paul Jaray's, at the Zeppelin-Werke wind tunnel in 1922.
I've not seen a Cd reported for the '52.'
His 1939 PORSHE 60K10, Berlin-Rome racer, with the 'falling roofline' is reported at Cd 0.20.

' Li Mega '
The 'contour' dates to 1790, and Sir George Cayleys 'cods' head / 'mackerel tail', embraced by naval architects.
It has the 'head' 'shoulder', and 'buttock' of Frederick Lanchester's streamline body of 1907, but lacking the 'tail'.
The 'tail' would be addressed by Koenig-Fachsenfeld in 1935, with his extensible tailed 'Kamm' Saloon.
Rendering a modern take on a 'Kammback'.
The 'slow' roofline will provide rear headroom and interior cargo volume.

I think a good excuse to have a CNC router for 4x8 sheets of plywood or aluminum would be to rebody last model minivans with reproduction Art Deco bodies.
Maybe fix the sight lines? There's an interior shot at 3:18.

1939 Karl Schloer: 0.186 "measured as resistance coefficient resistance". (Whatever that means)

1:16 out of 1:44 is actionable intelligence. They didn't even mention the air car experiments.
From Propellor-Driven Cars which is interesting itself.
From the Retro Cars channel that did the Holland Coachcraft vans, 22 hours ago
It had a microphone so the driver could hear the rear engine. And compound curve glass. Why has no-one done a replica? Why not on a Type II donor chassis.
I may still have the diecast model somewhere.

According to Hucho's reporting, with flush glass, radiator delete, mirror-delete, loosing the wheel arch flairs, closing the arch-to-wheel gap, and full belly pan, she'd be in Cd 0.314 territory.
