Somewhat interesting is the Morgan Midsummer

www.caranddriver.com/photos/g60790183/morgan-midsummer-revealed-gallery/

The classic Morgan Plus 6 gets ecomodded: Partial grille block, front diverter, side skirts, long tail with box cavity truncation, windshields no bigger than you rear view mirrors, & etc.

Interesting wooden external duct/door pulls. Taller tires on lighter wheels.

Background story on the Morgan/Pinin Farina colalbaration:

I'd be going with the aft-body of the 1st version.

Casey the Car Guy built a whole car to get Aerocivic level fuel mileage:

But to be fair he could probably do much better -- if he didn't start from a cold start in the garage.

Not CGI. It was shown at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.

I couldn't find an attribution for the car, but it resembles a 50s Citroen ID19 or DS that's been chopped and channeled.

I'd wager it's a Photochop.

The closest I've seen is this 1/43rd scale coupe. It's got the short wheelbase but a different roofline.

https://www.carmodel.com/norev/15702...pe-ricou/24636

The tire height/wheelbase ratio and the door cutlines differ.

In any case, I like it a lot.

I was sorting though some old magazines and found a 1996 AutoWeek that had the Ford Indigo on the cover.

https://www.kimballstock.com/pix/car...rk0356-14p.jpg

I liked the features a lot. I think it influenced my VW rat rod model, with the open front wheels and shark nose.

The bumper-height front wing resembles the Plymouth Prowler concept from that year. The flying buttress/rear wing appeared on the second generation Ford GT. The V12 engine shipped in production Aston Martins.

Turn signals in the front bumper like the 1968-73 Mexican Beetle.

World's fastest single-engined car for decades:

Some amazing stuff -- the rear swing axles used Ford torque tube ball and socket joints instead of CV joints. The brakes were rear only, 1940 Ford!
