I keep hearing Toyota's aren't the rock-solid (if rather boring) rides that they used to be. If they're only boring now, that doesn't spell good news.

Everything we didn't like in the Prius (rattles, poor seats, road noise, ride quality) seem to be solved with the new Octavia. So far the tank to tank averages seem pretty good (50-55+), tax is only £20 more - as in it is £20 vs £0 before. At current fuel prices that would be half a tank in the Prius...

Also the DSG is miles better than CVT.
