I mentioned somewhere else that I had almost purchased a personal helicopter (homebuilt) for $500... I only decided not to buy it because it would have gotten me into alot of trouble, I'm sure.
If nothing else, I'd have probably gotten shot down.

i am very disappointed with the style of automobiles. i like the early year 200x insight body style. now they are looking more like a regular car.
believe it or not, just a few months ago when i bought my old accord, i had a choice between the '91, '92, and '86 models. i like the body style of the 1986 i drive today. ..probably the pop-up lights is what i liked best. up, or down. lastly, i have to get a 3rd car for the family this summer. it'll probably be a 1700 lbs HF for me. |

I want my hovercar! That way I can buy the nuclear power conversion kit for $5k and be able to go without fillups forever! And my time machine so I can stop Ford from making the Model T gasoline powered, and make it electric!
The air car though is interesting. Granted, its a small airplane, but still its a step in the right direction. |

...if Lockheed (XFV-1 "Pogo"), Convair (XFY-1) and Ryan (F-53) couldn't make viable VTOL single-seat fighters, I seriously DOUBT some fly-by-night (pun intended) company can.

Because appealing to emotions is the single best way to sell something. And unfortunately, efficiency does not generate strong emotions in most people.

I still don't like that T-Rex. Those things are ugly and fairly impractical to begin with... adding an "aero" body and some panniers just isn't really my definition of awesome.
Plus, I dunno if you noticed or not, but that body is more tuned for high-speed downforce generation.
