..might have put this news on the wrong forum, but the clearance sales of the aero shells, curved windscreens, and partially finished pre-production models give many the chance to finish beautiful aero projects.

I got a chuckle out of this comment on that site :

QUOTE : Krishan Mistry
The Aptera 2e reminds me of those crazy looking University eco-contest vehicles, where teams make something that weighs like a few ounces and gets 10000000000000000000000000000000mpg (or alternate fuel equivalent) while disrupting the air less than the fart of a butterfly. Would have been cool if you were one day available to buy and drive one. If not Aptera, who else is up to it? "

Nice visual there

No, I'm totally stricken. I will be even more devastated when investors and depositors fail to get anything back. /sarcasm

This so-called auto plant in Ohio... is that the same one where the Palmear Mustangs are made?

Wouldn't it be fun to get a look at the real books?

Wish they had started out with a simple IC vehicle, got it in production, then used the income for advancements. Too many changes in buildings and management. Sounds like personalities that didn't get along. It's sad since it seemed like they had something that worked, just not good business practices, but that is just based on what I have read. First year I opened my shop I lived there with no heat or hot water, worked 60 hour weeks, and made $1800 the first year. It doesn't come easy and many think they are successful and count the chickens before they are hatched.

regards
Mech

I believe they did succeed in doing what they wanted: soaking millions of dollars out of believers without actually having to produce anything. Like I said, a look at the REAL books would be educational.

It's easy to spot when an outfit lacks the sincerity in their project. One sign is that the only progress made in several years is a turntable for displaying a non-running shell, right Zoltan?

The DeLorean of the FE world. Except DeLorean sold some cars.

I kinda wish I had an Aptera. Oh well, I have a Civic.
