It's so cold.....
So how cold is it?
It's so cold, I had to spend 15 minutes with my heat gun to open my truck's door this morning.
How cold is it by you?

brrrrr
-15* F. But almost no wind, unlike last night. The car that didn't get driven to the grocery store last night wouldn't start this morning.

A little frost on the windshields this morning, but it'll probably get up around 60 again today, like it did this weekend.
Which is really ticking me off: we had lots of cold & snow before Thanksgiving (early for here), and my new skis were on backorder. Now they get here, and it warms up :-(

-20°C (-4°F) 10 days ago,
0°C (32°F) yesterday,
-5°C (23°F) today (the car froze after yesterday's rain),
-20°C (-4°F) tomorrow night,
above freezing during the holidays.

My car was on the block heater this morning and only got to 130*F by the time I got to school (1.7 miles away). It was about 4*F with some crazy low wind chill.

It's so cold that I could hear my IMA battery laughing at me when I asked for assist. Also, it's a good thing I have a DC/DC converter that can run all the time, because my 12V battery's resting voltage is ~9.0V (per SGII) with headlights on. I.e. I have a dead 12V battery, and I don't need to fix it until it's warmer out.

It's so cold...
that when I opened my mileage log this morning, the cover shattered and fell off.

A few days ago, it was a low of about 8F in the morning. Today the high was about 53F... Ground is muddy again.

...officially set a new record high-temperature of 84°F at the airport today, but my weather station in our backyard recorded 89°F.
