Well no directly, but they have tons of programs to retune the stock computer (can anyone guess... lean mode!!), tons of lowering springs for cheap (better aero), and just more support from the "tuning" crowd that could be carried over for ecomodding use. I bet they also have lower gears and final drives.

I just dont know if I want to buy a domestic car... you know with everything going on right now and their not so good reliability...

Ford has one of the best reliability records, i'm pretty sure it is even (or maybe passed) Toyota.

I'd go for a yaris if i were you.. great compact car and very fuel efficient.

salvage cars like a cobalt can go for around 7k

30+ mpg with a manual then you got the other 3k for gas
