For anyone else that has not seen NEV before:
Quote:
A Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) is a U.S. designation for battery electric vehicles that are usually built to have a top speed of 25 miles per hour (40 km/h), and have a maximum loaded weight of 3,000 lb (1,400 kg). Depending on the particular laws of the state, they are legally limited to roads with posted speed limits of 45 miles per hour (72 km/h) or less. NEVs fall under the United States Department of Transportation classification for low-speed vehicles.

Ik looks like it belongs in a merry-go-round?
A defunct merry-go-round might make a great parking location. When people are watching, get in it and drive off...

Admin note: copied the above posts over from the " 35 MPG used cars under $1.5k" topic.
This is definitely entertaining & educational enough to make it threadworthy on its own.

Ok.
I’m not going crazy then.
I checked to see if there was a thread posted in Fossil Fuel Free and there wasn’t. So I posted. Now I see there’s a thread that wasn’t there before.
I didn’t know it was posted in another thread.
We don’t need two. Just remove my thread.

Does that mean there are now 2.5 threads?
(Counting the discussion in cheap beaters for sale?)

I see this $900 EV and always remember how JSH doesn’t believe a 3 wheeled motor cycle could be sold for $9995 in this country.
It’s all about building to a price and outsourcing without heed to modern equipment.
Ah well
