jeep liberty improvements

I have an 06 CRD liberty with an green diesel engineering Eco tune, 2.5 in lift kit and stock size tires with 45 psi.I'm looking to improve my hwy milage via blocking off the frontend, extending air dam or other means.

Looking for advice on what normally works on these brinks. Sorry not going to lower it I know that will help.

Do you off-road with yer Jeep? Auto or manual transmission? Does this have full time 4WD? What speed do you set yer cruise to fer highway driving? What do you use to monitor yer gas mileage (Scangauge II, Ultragauge, or smartphone/dongle) with? What gas mileage do you currently git on the highway?

If you can learn how to drive economically using a mileage monitor, you will probably see the biggest increase on yer gas mileage.

Nto really any off roading but 1-2ft of snow happens a lot, its 4x4 auto, I have a elm327 had dashboard commander but not on my new phone so I need a nee app.

I do need to insure I'm driving correct that's an easy one and I'll get an app.

I drive 115km a day, about 10% city, 30% under 100km/h on rural roads, and 60% on hwy. I put it on cruise at 110km/h on the hwy. Sometimes try to draft a big rig lol.

I'm thinking of blocking all all the lower openings on the bumper, and 60% of the grill becusee its getting cold here.

I read on green diesels site that to get better milage in the winter to pull the intake and just use the warm air from the engine bay, don't understand that part.

Smooth underpanels. The underside of most 4X4's is an aerodynamic nightmare. If designed sturdily enough, they can double as skid plates and if designed properly, can block off many of the underside nooks and crannies that collect salt and road crud. A fringe benefit is it also reduces "road" noise, much of which is created by the wind turbulence under the vehicle. When plowing through deep snow, it can also prevent snow from entering the underside of the engine compartment and piling up against the firewall.

I work with a guy with your rig. He's got an 05 with Green Diesel and a 2" lift. Belly pans can help make the aero somewhat less horrible and a grille block will help with warmups, but that thing is an aero pig. That tune is the biggest improvement.

Here is a link to a technical drawing.
It looks like Chrysler's airdam is already shielding everything except the lower A-Arms.So you might just consider extending the sides down even with the bottom of those.
Looking from the front, you need to establish where the radiator is,with respect to the grille, and where any vertical beams are crossing in front of the air passage.
Cardboard and blue tape would 'show' you what you can get away with as far as temps go.
You're at Cd 0.42,with around 30.937 sq-ft of frontal area,or CdA 12.993-sq-ft drag factor.Chrysler's 2014 RAM 1500 is below Cd 0.36.Some SUVs are 0.34.
