I been busy on the insightcentral forums but I am back here keeping my fuel logs.
The first tank I burnt was horrible, the FCD registered 41.5 MPG at 324 miles.
The issues when I first got the car were:
All worn out tires
clogged EGR
CVT shuddering (start clutch burnishing needed)
This is what the FCD read today before I filled my tank. All I could muster out of her was from 41-43 MPG the whole tank and if you notice the total miles on this tank is horrible.
In the last week I had all the servicing done at the dealer to address these issues.
CVT Transmission Flush
Engine Oil/Filter change
Brand new set of RE92 LRR OEM tires
EGR replacement
The car drives tons smoother and the start shudder is completely gone.
I took a 7 mile drive on my usual route today and look at the improvements!
The EGR replacement seemed to be the most important maintenance because it has a lot to do with fine throttle adjustments. Before I could not adjust the throttle easily and got more of a off on feeling. Now I can balance out my acceleration and cruising speeds WAY SMOOTH! 68.3 MPG in 7.1 miles! I have a feeling this tank will see a big jump on range now.
