Thanks Brucepick,

I just topped off the tank with 89 octane for my first time and reset the Trip, but this darn FCD is hard to operate and I do not know how to get trip B to show. Guess I will just use the lifetime and trip A. Been driving the car for the last 3 days and I love it, no problems or engine lights popping up and the battery seems to work just fine.

Yes that's 211,136 miles with a lifetime of 51.7MPG.

I been busy on the insightcentral forums but I am back here keeping my fuel logs.
The first tank I burnt was horrible, the FCD registered 41.5 MPG at 324 miles.
The issues when I first got the car were:
All worn out tires
clogged EGR
CVT shuddering (start clutch burnishing needed)

This is what the FCD read today before I filled my tank. All I could muster out of her was from 41-43 MPG the whole tank and if you notice the total miles on this tank is horrible.

In the last week I had all the servicing done at the dealer to address these issues.
CVT Transmission Flush
Engine Oil/Filter change
Brand new set of RE92 LRR OEM tires
EGR replacement

The car drives tons smoother and the start shudder is completely gone.
I took a 7 mile drive on my usual route today and look at the improvements!
The EGR replacement seemed to be the most important maintenance because it has a lot to do with fine throttle adjustments. Before I could not adjust the throttle easily and got more of a off on feeling. Now I can balance out my acceleration and cruising speeds WAY SMOOTH! 68.3 MPG in 7.1 miles! I have a feeling this tank will see a big jump on range now.

The new tires are also costing you a few MPG, so it's only going to get better ;-)

It should cycle through lifetime/trip A/trip B with the button. The button can get pretty stiff with age (or at least mine has), so you have to keep poking at it to get it to work.

While pushing in the trip (not the FCD) button, move your finger in a north-south and then east west manner. Do this 30-40 times and it will clean the micro film on the switch contacts. Works.

I got it to work!
I didn't know you had to be on the lifetime section of the FCD, then press "trip" to switch between A and B but it works just fine! I also Filled up the tank again now with a perfectly running car! EGR plate cleaned, EGR replaced, oil change, brand new tires. This next tank should be good! the last tank I mustered 47.7 at 456 miles which is way better then 41.5 and 324 miles. Now everything is fixed, EGR plate cleaned, EGR replaced, all fluids serviced, brand new RE92 tires, and 89 of full tank, the last 2 tanks I used Medium grade gas so we'll see how 89 does.
